Thank you for continuously enjoying “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Battle Chronicle.”
Greetings everyone.
This is Shimizu from the Danchro Live Ops team.
The “Danmachi V” anime is really picking up steam, isn’t it! Meanwhile, the Danchro development team is also feeling the heat—though for a different reason, as we’re swamped with year-end tasks. That said, we’ll keep delivering exciting updates that live up to your expectations!
Now, it’s been about a month since the last “Message from the Live Ops Team,” so I’d like to take this opportunity to share some updates about the future of Danchro.

Addition of New Characters to Coincide with the “Danmachi V” Anime (Continued)
The new characters scheduled for release in December, in conjunction with Danmachi V, will be releasing soon. Please hang in there a little longer.
The Special Move animations for the characters making their debut have been crafted with great care by the development team. We hope you’ll be looking forward to them!
Additionally, regarding the rerun of “Young Lady’s Resolve: Syr Flover,” which we mentioned in the last “Message from the Live Ops Team,” we are currently making adjustments. Please bear with us a little longer.
End Content Revision & Improvements (Continued)
How did you find the “Battle Arena” update we implemented in mid-November?
We will continue to refine the content based on your feedback after the update, making it even more enjoyable.
As mentioned previously, in December we plan to adjust the matching range and point increases/decreases in the “Magic Stone Scramble.” By making it easier to match with players of similar rank, we aim to make the content more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Also, in the “United Final Battle”, the monster to defeat in the next season will be the “Silverback”!
On a more detailed note, we plan to refine certain features to make it easier to engage in consecutive battles during the “United Final Battle” raid.
By the way, did you notice that the Party Setup screen for the “Uncharted Battlefield” was updated in mid-November?
We’ve seen some comments asking, “Is this a Halloween version?” This change was made to help differentiate the “Uncharted Battlefield” formation slots from those of story quests, as they are treated separately. We altered the background to make it easier to distinguish between them.
We will continue to make small adjustments and improvements to end-game content, ensuring it remains engaging and enjoyable for the long term.
Regarding Rankings
We made major changes to the event ranking format during our 1st Anniversary event held from August to October of this year.
We changed the format to hold two types of rankings during a single event period, and added “Total Point Ranking” and “Damage Ranking”. Since then, we have been doing the “Total Point Ranking” in the first half and the “Damage Ranking” for individuals and Familias in the second half.
“We plan to continue hold events in a similar format going forward. The introduction of the new ranking system during the 1st anniversary was specifically aimed at preventing event repetition. The idea is to add more variety to the rankings available in future events.
”
Therefore, we are currently adjusting next year’s schedule so that we can hold not only the above-mentioned rankings but also the conventional format rankings.
We are also working on standardizing ranking content that emphasizes player skill. We aim to implement this as content that will please those confident in their player skills. We will make another announcement as soon as details are finalized.
Feature Additions & Improvements
The 3D models in Danchro are highly detailed and have received excellent feedback. We’ve also received numerous requests to allow players to set Scene Cards, which feature beautiful 2D illustrations, as their home screen. I, too, would love to set Scene Cards as my home screen, which is why we’ve had the “Scene Card Home Screen Setting Feature” on our development task list for some time. We’ve been working on adjusting the timing to implement it.
The highly anticipated feature will finally be added on 12/11 (UTC +9). You’ll be able to customize your home screen with your favorite Scene Cards and enjoy Danchro even more. I’m excited for the update myself!
In the October update, we also made improvements to the character-switching controls when using a controller. We will continue to refine the controls to ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable gameplay experience.
Others
There’s only a little bit of this year left.
Next year, the entire development team will continue to strive to deliver an even more satisfying Danchro experience. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to bringing you even more great content.
We will continue to share “Messages from the Live Ops team” to keep you updated on the future of Danchro. We hope you’ll look forward to the upcoming updates.
