Message from the Live Ops team

Thank you for continuously enjoying “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Battle Chronicle.”

Hello everyone
This is Shimizu from the [DanChro] Live Ops team.

We hope you have been enjoying the 1st Anniversary event, which has been running for about two months.
Thanks to the support of all our “DanChro” players, we were able to celebrate this milestone, and we are truly grateful.

Please note that we have extended the duration of some of the 1st Anniversary events, and we hope you will enjoy them to the end.

Instead of a Director’s Letter this time, we would like to present a “Message from the Live Ops team.” Based on the results of the recent survey, we hope to share some insights into upcoming updates and give our users a glimpse into the future of DanChro.

▼Regarding the Future Update Direction

Addition of new characters to align with the TV anime “Danmachi V”

From October, we will be implementing new characters in line with the airing of the TV anime “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? V Goddess of Fertility Arc.”

While we cannot yet provide specific details about the implementation timing, we are excited to add many appealing characters that will tie in with the airing anime. Stay tuned for more updates!

Revisions and improvements to endgame content

We will be making revisions and improvements to the following content: Magic Stone Scramble, Battle Arena, Uncharted Battlefield, and Abyssal Exploration.

We aim to enhance not only the overall playability but also the enjoyment and balance of these contents.
Once we are ready to share more specific details, we will provide further updates, so please stay tuned.

As for the “Battle Arena”, we aim to have the updates be implemented around mid-November.

New features for Familia

We have received numerous requests from members already belonging to Familias for additional features for Familia.

We understand the frustration about the lack of other engaging features and noticed that Familias peaks mainly during ranking events.

We are dedicated to expanding Familia functionalities so that more players can join in and play together. We appreciate your patience and support as we work to improve this.

Addition of multiplayer elements

As we celebrate our 1st anniversary, it’s clear that expanding our multiplayer elements is essential to make the gameplay for “DanChro” even more enjoyable.

We have also received numerous requests from players, and our development team is buzzing with various suggestions.
We believe that adventuring through the dungeons as a group will bring the players closer to the immersive experience as seen in the anime.

Currently, we are exploring to introduce new multiplayer content or to enhance the “Abyssal Exploration” feature introduced during our anniversary with multiplayer capabilities. We appreciate your patience and will share more details as soon as possible.

We will also continue to improve the existing multiplayer content, including the “United Final Battle”.

Transition to partial voice acting

In “DanChro”, we have been committed to full voice acting and consider it an important aspect of the game.

However, to focus on the content revisions and additions mentioned above, we will be transitioning from full voice acting to partial voice acting.

There will be no changes to the existing parts that are already fully voiced. The transition to partial voice will begin with updates after mid-October.
We understand that our event stories have been well-received with full voice acting, and this change is difficult for us to make. However, we have made this decision to prioritize the development tasks listed earlier.

Additionally, after the prioritized development has progressed and stable operation has been achieved, we will work to implement full voice acting during special scenario timings. In that case, we will notify you again.

Others

We will continue to keep you informed through the “Message from the Live Ops teams” about the future updates of “DanChro”, so please stay tuned.

Our team remains dedicated to the ongoing development and operation of the game. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to providing our players with an even better gameplay experience in “DanChro”.
