The year 2023 marked a period of rapid development and service launch for DanChro.
We are planning to continue running full speed in 2024, both in development and operation, to bring even more enjoyment to all our users.
Now, let’s take a brief look back on the “DanChro Director’s Letter Vol.1” and “DanChro Grand Schedule Vol.1” that we announced at the end of October 2023.
▼ Regarding the Major Challenges Highlighted for “DanChro”
The imbalance in Stamina-related aspects
We believe that, overall, improvements have been made.However, with the increase in Stamina limits, we are aware that some core users may be facing a shortage of consumption options.
In 2024, we will continue to consider adjustments to the balance of acquiring and consuming Stamina.
Difficulty and obscurity in collecting character upgrade materials.
We believe that ease of collection has generally improved with the addition of the Upgrade Quest and others, but we recognize that clarity remains a challenge.
In 2024, we will consider adjustments to make it clearer and more user-friendly.
Difficulty setting for auto-battles while maintaining the balance and challenge of the game as an action game.
With the improvement in the AI of auto-battles, we feel that good adjustments have been generally made for Normal Quests.
Regarding battles of higher difficulty, we will continue to consider and implement improvements.
Various aspects related to controls.
We will continue to make improvements in this area.
Cheating countermeasures in events like Magic Stone Scramble and others.
Cheat countermeasures have been implemented in App Version 1.3.0.
As a result of these measures, the number of cheats has significantly decreased.
While monitoring the situation, we will continue to consider and implement countermeasures.
▼ Regarding the Points Raised for Future Updates
Improvements to the AI for auto-battles.
We believe that, for auto-battles, improvements have been made in most aspects except for the use of battle items.
However, we recognize challenges in various aspects of the AI, and we will continue to make adjustments.
Moreover, we aim to balance high-difficulty content in a way that “auto-battle being the optimal solution” does not become the case.
Balance adjustment: Upward revision for the “Speed” and “Support” roles.
With this adjustment, we believe that the “Speed” role has become much more user-friendly.
However, we still consider the “Support” role to be less user-friendly compared to other roles.
In 2024, we plan to consider balance adjustments for the “Support” role.
Newly added events.
In October, we had “Pumpkin Ephialtes
To provide even more enjoyment to everyone, we plan to introduce events in 2024 with different mechanics and rewards from previous events. Please look forward to it!
▼ Regarding the Things That Could Not Be Implemented
Regarding the “Familia Improvements” and the “Implementation of New Character Training Content,” originally scheduled for December, we have had various discussions within the development team. To make them better, we will adjust the implementation schedule as follows.
- “Implementation of New Character Training Content” ⇒ Planned for implementation in February 2024.
- “Familia Improvement” ⇒ Planned for implementation in March to May 2024.
We apologize for the delay in communicating about the above-mentioned content to everyone waiting for it, and we also apologize for the delay in its implementation.
The reason for the delay in the development of new content is that the team is currently focusing on improving app crashes.
Although we have not yet fully addressed the issue, we have been gradually implementing solutions in App Versions 1.3.0 and 1.4.0. In December, the crash rate decreased compared to November, and we are starting to see improvements.
Finally, we are continuously improving our development system to ensure that no issues occur in new content, including addressing any bugs that may have occurred in various existing content.
We will continue to progress with content development while striving to ensure that everyone can enjoy the gameplay more comfortably.
